Can I sign up a family member, friend or my pet for this service?
Yes.  BlueberryRx.com can be used to remind anyone to take their medications as long as they are capable of receiving the reminders (by phone, text message or e-mail).  You can even use our service to remind you to give your pets their medications.  We recommend that subscribers not share their account information with anyone.  However, we also understand that in certain circumstances the subscriber may require assistance getting signed up and entering their medication reminders.  In this situation, the person whose medication information is being stored in the account and who will be receiving medication reminders must give you permission to sign them up, enter their medication information and schedule their reminders.
Are medication reminders only for prescription medications?
No.  You can set up reminders to help you remember to take prescription medications, non-prescription medications, as well as vitamins, minerals or other supplements.  BlueberryRx recommends that you discuss all non-prescription drugs, vitamins and supplements with your healthcare provider to ensure that they will be safe for you to take. We also recommend that you periodically review your list of medications with your healthcare provider to make sure that they are accurate, that you are taking them correctly and that there are no drug-drug interactions.
Will my personal & medication information be kept confidential & is my account secure?
BlueberryRx takes the privacy of your information seriously.  Your account is password protected.  All credit card transactions are encrypted with 128-bit SSL encryption.  We keep your medication information confidential.  We do not disclose or sell any personally identifiable information regarding your account to third parties.

List of Medications

Why should I create a list of medications?
If you take medications, it’s a good idea to write them down and keep the list in a safe place.  Having a list of medications can help you remember the names of those medications, their strengths, and their instructions.  We encourage you to print and take this list of medications to every visit with your healthcare provider and whenever you go to your pharmacy.  This can help reduce medication errors and contribute to continuity of care.
Can I add, edit or delete my list of medications?
Yes.
Can I print my list of medications?
Yes.
Do I need to create a medication list in order to set up medication reminders?
No.  You can set up medication reminders without creating a list of medications.  However, we recommend that you first create a list of medications that can be saved, printed, and used as a reference.

Can I send a phone call medication reminder to one phone in the morning and to another phone in the evening?
Yes.  Our robust scheduling system allows you to store up to 3 different phone numbers per account to deliver phone/text reminders to.  We understand that subscribers may lead an active lifestyle and be in different places when it's time to take their medication.  Our system is designed to give you the flexibility to receive your reminders according to your needs.
Can I receive medication reminders if I travel within the Continental United States, Hawaii or Alaska?
Yes, under certain conditions.  You need to make sure that your cell phone will have coverage in the area you are travelling to if you plan to receive phone or text-message reminders on your cell phone.  Also, you need to make sure that you will have access to e-mail wherever you are traveling if you plan to receive reminders by e-mail.  Finally, make sure that the appropriate time zone you will be traveling to is selected in your account so that the reminders arrive at the correct time.  If you cannot, or decide not to receive your medication reminders while traveling, you can put your medication reminders on hold temporarily from your accout.
Can I receive medication reminders if I travel outside of the continental United States, Alaska & Hawaii?
Yes, under certain conditions.  It depends on how you choose to receive your medication reminders.  At this time we do not dial international phone numbers to deliver medication reminders.  However, if you will be carrying a cell phone with a U.S. number and will have cellular and text-message service abroad, you may be able to continue receiving phone and text-message reminders on your cell phone.  Also, you need to make sure that you will have access to e-mail wherever you are traveling if you plan to receive reminders by e-mail.  Finally, make sure that the appropriate time zone you will be traveling to is selected in your account so that the reminders arrive at the correct time.  If you cannot, or decide not to receive your medication reminders while traveling, you can put your medication reminders on hold temporarily from your account.
Will BlueberryRx know the correct time in my time zone?  Will the time automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time and Standard Time?
Yes.  During registration, you will be asked to enter in your residential time zone.  Your account will automatically be linked to this time zone and the appropriate time will be displayed as such on your account homepage.  We recommend that you also compare the exact time listed on your account homepage with the time on your watch/clock to prevent any miscommunication.  Our website will automatically adjust the time to accurately reflect Daylight Savings Time or Standard time.  If you move or will be temporarily residing in a different time zone, you can always go to the Account Management section of your account and change the time zone accordingly.
Can I put my medication reminders on hold?
Yes.  If you wish to temporarily hold off on receiving medication reminders, you will be able to do so without disrupting the medication reminder data you have previously entered.  However, all medication users should continue to take their medication as prescribed and directed by their healthcare provider even if they have put the reminder service on hold.
